This picture was taken under Santa Monica Pier, Los Angeles,CA, USA on Saturday September 4th, 2004.
We started a photoclub at work and set each other challenges every two weeks, with four weeks to complete them. So I am going to enter this photo into our "Forgotten" challenge. That was the first word I thought of when I saw this lonely abandoned flower on the beach.
