Nice pic. Did that dive end up as a belly flop? After watching all those Olympic dives, it doesn't look as if there's enough time to get into position judging from the height.
There were many bely flops on this day.
I am not sure if this dive was one of them.
It seemed like part of their fun was making the biggest splashes possible and soaking everyone in the vicinity.
The subject's father was actually a competitive diver, so maybe he managed to pull this dive off. I was waiting for the LCD to refresh so I didn't see the result.
Needless to say he is off sick today and complaining that his body is aching all over.
I have several other photos from this series and will post them up when I can.
Those boys were being pretty energetic and crazy!
